A few months back I got a nice email from a chap at the MG Owners' Club asking if I felt like writing an article for an upcoming edition of their magazine.

Just a quick post today to show the new garage floor I put down recently.

While I was checking out the work on the splash panels from the wheel arch, I caught a glimpse of daylight at the top of the wing. This turned out to be a tiny hole in a cluster of rust bubbles.

The driver-side wing mirror has always been a touch loose - you can even see the string we secured it with when we were collecting the car as we were worried it'd fall off!

After the bad news of the discovery of rust in the front driver-side sill, I was due some good news. Luckily the rust had not spread past what I could see from the wheel arch.
